Check charger visibility in Look2Guide In Look2Guide, open the project and check the Devices or Chargers area. Confirm that the expected chargers are assigned to the project and that recent activity appears. Missing recent activity usually means the charger has not successfully uploaded data recently. ### 5. Recovering missing data Do not reset or replace equipment before contacting support. In many cases the audio guides still hold usage data until it is uploaded. Support can advise whether the data can be recovered through the charger or by using a manual upload workflow. ### 6. Restart the charger Sometimes, simply switching the charger on and off, through the red switch on the back of the charger, can solve the issue. Give it a try, wait around 30 seconds and see what happens. ### 7. Understand the signal flow The usual flow is: the visitor triggers a Point & Click action on the audio guide, the Sync AG sends a GPIO pulse to the BrightSign player, the BrightSign starts the video, and the BrightSign keeps a dry contact closed during playback so the Sync AG knows the video is running. ### 3. Connect the devices only after checking the model Connect the Sync AG GPIO output to a BrightSign GPIO input. Connect a BrightSign GPIO output or dry-contact signal back to a Sync AG GPIO input if the setup needs playback-state feedback. BrightSign GPIO pinouts and adapters depend on the exact model, so verify the model-specific BrightSign documentation before wiring. ### 4. Program the BrightSign behavior The BrightSign presentation must be programmed to start the correct video when it receives the GPIO trigger. It should also keep the configured dry contact closed while the video is playing, then release it when playback ends if that feedback is used by the installation. ### 5. Prepare and test the media Use the Look2Guide video sync preparation workflow for the media files. After wiring and programming, test the full visitor flow several times: trigger from the guide, confirm the video starts, listen for sync, let the full video finish, and confirm the system is ready for the next visitor. ### 6.
