This three-minute video introduces the smart charger, shows how to set it up and explains how your content stays up to date.
What the smart charger does
The smart charger holds twenty audio guides. It charges them, downloads your latest content from Look2Guide and uploads their visitor statistics. With Look2Guide PRO, all of this happens over the internet. Without a network, you can update the content from a USB drive. Install the charger
Place the charger near a power socket and a network socket, connect the power and Ethernet cables, and switch it on. Install or move a smart charger shows each step in a one-minute video and lists what to check when you move a charger.
Configure the charger
You link each charger to your project once, with a configuration file on a USB drive. See Configure a smart charger.
Update the content
There are two ways to update the content on your audio guides: online with Look2Guide PRO, or from a USB drive. Updating content with smart chargers explains both. The step-by-step guides are Update content online with a smart charger and Update content from a USB drive or SD card.
If something does not work
If a charger does not appear in Look2Guide, check its LAN light, or switch it off and on again with the red switch at the back. If statistics are missing, see Troubleshooting Missing Statistics and Network Requirements For Statistics Upload. Please tell our support team before you move a charger to another network.
